Holy Week 2013

It is our family tradition to spend the Holy Week in our home than to celebrate it somewhere else. This year, we celebrated the Holy Week differently because we had visitors from San Juan Batangas, my mom's hometown.

Every year, we're able to witness what they call " PENITENSYA".

This is the THIEF.
(I'm scared of this character of Penitensya when I was little. There was one time he stole our grilled fish and seafoods just to portray his character well. FUNNY THOUGH)

I'm sorry for my get up. I was really home-bound that time and I was not prepared to go out anytime.
I was with my cousin, Erika.

My Dad went to Cainta, Rizal to have a picture of the real crucifixion of Christ.

I'm thankful that my Dad didn't asked me to go with him that time 'cause I can't take this kind of scene. :'( sorry Lord for my sins :(

It's Good Friday and the people of Taytay, Rizal were busy for the procession of the AMBA.

They're the people who will carry the AMBA during the procession. It's their sacrifice for the Holy Week. They're wearing white shirt and they will just walk with bare foot.

Even the old people were really busy for the procession.

Images of Christ and Blessed Virgin Mary.

Santo Entierro. this is the AMBA.

This one's for sure. Thank you for loving and saving us.

Jesus died for us. He did that for YOU and ME. for US. He saved our lives at all cost. Wanna know the reason why? 'cause He loves each one of us UNCONDITIONALLY. Let's be all thankful for Him. To GOD be the GLORY.

Kazams

We got another semester down and we only have two more to work hard for. Weeeeee!

Here's my little piece of trivia for everyone. Kazams International Cuisine has been the witness of our success. It is located at Concepcion st. Sampaloc Manila, a few walks away from Dapitan gate of University of Santo Tomas.

This place has been the usual resto that we would like to go every time we finish a successful project or every time we have an achievement from school.

Very International!

They have these photos of different landmarks and different attractions around the world! I must admit I really love every piece of it.

Very minimalist yet I find it very elegant.

You can see that we got the whole place reserved for us

I always have photos of the menu book.

Kazams International Cuisine offers different meals like salads, steaks, sea foods (which I really love).

They also have Chicken, Pork and Beef meals.

Worry not 'cause they also have their very own starters, soups and my love PASTAAA!

Here's their signature FRA DIABLO.

Kazams has witnessed our euphoric stories from how we worked hard for a certain project down to the very part that we succeeded it. The last time we went here was for our sem-ender dinner out. THAT IS ANOTHER ACHIEVEMENT! It's one of the tough semester we had yet we have conquered it. Great!

I'm so blessed that I got to meet these lovely people. It's very nostalgic on how we bond as friends during our first ever summer class last year. Yes, it's summer again yet  I will forever keep these true and genuine sisters of mine. I've been through a lot this Academic Year and they were the people who assured me that no matter what happens I still have them.
This photo was taken last October. (blurred)

You guys are awesome! You got the beauty and the brain. But that's not the end of the story. You have the HEART ready to give. Heart that is humble enough. Heart that is so compassionate and loving. Thank you for helping me out and thank you for accepting all my flaws. Let it be known that I love you and I'm,as well, always here for you ladies.

Blend it with Mocha Blends

I'm sure that before my family patronized Starbucks,we first gave our loyalty to the first ever coffee shop in Taytay, Rizal and that is MOCHA BLENDS.

It is located at Valley Fair Town Center Ortigas Extension, Taytay, Rizal.

If Starbucks is known for their Frappe, Mocha Blends is known for their Frost.

I'm really glad that Mocha Blends, though seemed to be old already, is a WiFi ZOOOONE :)

It is actually located near fitness establishments and badminton courts so most probably after working out people are heading to Mocha Blends and have some of their classic drinks and coffees.
But whenever I visit this place I saw many businessmen and some artist having their coffee here ( Toni Gonzaga is one of them )

I find this display really cute.

I hope you could read the menu. They have their Espresso Heritage, Signature Mocha, Non Espresso and Mega Frost :)

Mocha Blends also offers breakfast meals, snacks and starters and  sandwiches. This is so COOL!

Mocha Blends offers these. I wonder where that Fredoccino came from. Is it from Fred? kidding!

TORANI in different flavors. (HAZELNUT, VANILLA, CARAMEL, PEPPERMINT and SALTED CARAMEL)

My cousin's favorite frost.

It's like a lambanog in a bottle but no it's just water.

Their counter.

These cakes are really yummy. YOU SHOULD TRY this people.

Blueberry Cheesecake

Mocha Misu

Oreo Cheesecake ( I know my highschool friends would love this one 'cause they are really addicted to OREO!)

Chicken Pie (that's how they call it though it's not round )

If ever you already paid a visit to Mocha Blends you should have some of their products to go and BLEND the love to your family members.

Sometimes, it's better to go back to the basics. And by that I mean, look back to the old things that made you realize the different taste of life. Thanks, Mocha Blends!
